French Ring 101

Even if someone is only slightly familiar with the dog training world, they may have heard of French Ring Sport. But what exactly is it? What purpose does French Ring serve? Who participates in it? What are the rules?

Laurie McIntosh has been involved in French Ring since 2001 and entered her first competition in 2007. Since then, she has competed in this remarkable sport with six dogs across four different countries, traveling extensively throughout North America and even competing in France. Laurie has entered more than 120 French Ring trials and has taken multiple dogs to Ring III—the highest level achievable in the sport.

Laurie is passionate about sharing the excitement and complexity of French Ring with a wider audience. To help educate others, this webinar provides an informative overview of the sport.
