The board recognizes the membership’s interest in IACP activities. With so many exciting changes which benefit our industry occurring at IACP, the Board will offer all-members, virtual open houses. Virtual Open House meetings will not be official all-member meetings, but rather a welcome and “get to know you” social for members to converse with board members and officers. Members will be encouraged to attend any or all scheduled open houses. We will especially encourage new members to attend to learn more about our mission, vision, positions, strategic plans and supported causes. In 2024 these small, virtual open houses will also include information about our soon to be presented proposed bylaws on which IACP professional members will be voting on in 2024.
