The International Association of Canine Professionals shapes global standards through diverse education, development and support of industry professionals. Founded in 1999, the IACP has grown to become one of the leading professional associations for dog trainers, behavior consultants, and other canine professionals around the world.
The organization was established with the primary goal of setting high standards for the industry and providing resources and support to its members. The IACP offers a wide range of educational programs, certifications, and networking opportunities to help professionals enhance their skills and knowledge in working with dogs.
The IACP also works to raise awareness about issues affecting dogs, such as breed-specific legislation, animal welfare laws, and the importance of responsible dog ownership. With over 3000 global members, on six continents, in 40 countries, and in all 50 United States, the International Association of Canine Professionals has a diverse membership base that includes dog trainers, behavior consultants, veterinarians, groomers, dog walkers, boarding facility managers, shelter workers, and other professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of dogs. The IACP continues to be a leader in the field of canine behavior and training, setting the standard for excellence and professionalism in the industry.
