Bart is a Cynologist, Animal Behaviorist of international repute. He is the founder of the Innovative Sport Dog Community, the founder of Tactical K9 Solutions and owner of Canine Evolutions in Toledo WA. He is the author of the From Tyrant to Teacher, Foundation of Animal Behavior Video Series and the author of the K9 performance pyramid. He laid the foundation of relationship based training in the late 1990’s and has changed the world of dog training today. Born in Belgium, Bart spend his whole life living with German Shepherd’s. He is a fellow at the Animal Behavior Society. Bart has over 25 years of experience and has worked with hundreds of family, sport, show, working and Police K9s. As a coach Bart has given numerous training seminars all over Europe and the USA. He has coached many professional trainers to top scores in various disciplines of dog sports, search and rescue and the hunting dog sport. He displayed his motivational relationship techniques to Police Service Dogs, coached training helpers and helped many of the recreational working dog owners to produce well behaved canine companions, never losing sight of the importance of the dog's drive and attitude.
