About the European Members Committee
The European Members Committee meets monthly on the first Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. ET.
Fostering a community focused on advancing the Canine Industry in Europe.
Its mission includes:
– Providing resources
– Education
– Support tailored to European needs.
– Bridging global IACP initiatives with local regulatory standards.
The EMC works with national and international organizations to establish high standards in professionalism, ethics, and education; promoting responsible dog ownership and scientific, practical training methods.
Key accomplishments include, growing the IACP’s online presence, revitalizing its social media. Also, conducting interviews with European canine professionals (which will be shared with IACP members)
Upcoming projects focus on expanding IACP’s visibility in Europe, highlighting local professionals, attending canine events as ambassadors, and collaborating with top canine businesses to offer member benefits.
The EMC also plans to organize small seminars with both IACP and non-IACP professionals to test venues and improve event organization.
Through these efforts, the EMC aims to unite and support the European Canine community, reinforcing IACP values of professionalism, integrity, and continuous learning
